Braza Chicken Now Open, Bringing South American Flavors and Freshness to Columbia Restaurant

(CUBNSC)- Braza Chicken Restaurant, located at the edge of the Broad River District and the Lexington-Richland County line at 676 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210, offers a menu full of flavor, freshness, and flair. Executive Chef Gustavo Taylhardat, a native of Venezuela, along with co-owner Juliano Lara, has been dedicated to developing dishes that highlight South American flavors.
“We do everything fresh. Our commitment is never to use anything out of a can or a bag like you might find in other places,” says Lara. “Our prices are sustainable, we pay our staff well, and we ensure they enjoy coming to work. This isn’t about profit for us; it’s about expanding our brand and ensuring that people get the quality they are looking for.”
Juliano Lara, originally from Brazil and now residing in Columbia, notes a significant demand for South American flavors. Inspired by feedback from friends and family, he and his partners decided to bring a taste of home to the Southeast, with plans to expand in the Midlands.
Lakeisha Brisbon, a frequent customer, shared her enthusiasm while waiting for her order. “This is my third time here this week. Everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly—not salty. I'm trying to eat better, but I still want convenience, and this place delivers. You can taste the difference.”
Braza Chicken offers a variety of staple options, including the signature Braza chicken, tender cuts of beef, empanadas, sweet and savory plantains, burritos, Braza bowls, and original sandwiches.
The restaurant also features American staples to complement the Braza Signature Chicken, such as delicious mashed potatoes, seasoned corn, green beans, soups, salads, hand-breaded never frozen tenders, and yuca fries.
