As comedy legend Kevin Hart takes the stage to host the 2025 BET Awards, excitement is surging across the country—and especially in Columbia, South Carolina, where fans are celebrating one of their own: 803 Fresh. 803 Fresh, affectionately known as “the 803 man,” lit up the stage with a high-energy performance that had fans buzzing. His track “Boots on the Ground” has become more than a song—it’s a movement. The viral anthem, which has united people from all walks of life, reached new heights when it made its way onto Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour lineup. Even Michelle Obama and Ms. Tina Knowles (yes, Beyoncé’s mama!) were seen line dancing to the track, signaling its undeniable cultural impact.
A Night Full of Icons
This year’s BET Awards featured a dynamic lineup of performances, including appearances by Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, Ledisi, Keyshia Cole, and Leon Thomas.
